“I have suffered for as long as I can remember to feel happy. With low self esteem, fear based actions and feeling out of control. Being told it was inherited depression and part of my DNA. I would struggle to form long lasting friendships and deep connection. Often making bad choices to fill the need for attention at the detriment of myself and people involved.
I’ve had all sorts of therapy and even been medicated. After some intensive CBT to correct my internal dialogue, it made me realise it had to come from within. I’ll be honest it has been great, however utterly exhausting to live the everyday checking myself and still feeling a huge void in my decision making and scared to move forward with my hopes, abilities and desires.
This has changed all of this. What an incredible gift. I had an open mind and an open heart to challenge my subconscious and wanted change. only learnt but passed onto me by my family (through no fault of their own).
Unlike the other reviews I had read I didn’t leave feeling changed, but I knew a massive shift had taken place. Four decades of frown lines were no longer there, my eyes were brighter and the baggage and weight I’d been carrying around had gone.
